Nikos, a young man in contemporary Athens, wants to kill himself. An old antiquaire miraculously saves him and gives him as a gift an ancient piece of skin that is engraved with the following words: “Possessing me thou shalt possess all things, but with each wish I must shrink, even as thy own days”. Nikos lightheartedly accepts the gift, only to see his life transform into cinema: passing through animation, farce and musical, he enters a frenetic race towards the great “love story”. Little by little, however, every single moment of his life is invested with a nightmarish, almost surreal, glow. Should he wake up or keep on dreaming? As his story slowly reaches its end, Nikos will come face to face with the unthinkable.
